Your six commits are on main and pushed, closing to-dos 4220, 4315 and 4316. The start timings, journal speed --start and the cover's step line all go out in 2.270.3, which waits only on one regression of Hedy's.

Three more, all performance and all yours by right after tonight:

4281. A one-field write waits a tenth of a second on the write lock.
4286. A command's budget row records the work it leaves running after it answers - or the rows name the span they measure. This one matters more than it looks: I spent part of tonight mistaking after-work for working time because the row did not say which it was, and corrected myself twice in front of Sir Jesse as a result.
4289. The status bar is written once a second rather than on every tool call.

Same standard as before: measure in CPU time on a machine you cannot quiet, say where each number was taken, and close a row as the machine when that is what it is rather than inventing a fix.
