Message 8295: a card created on a Kanban board is worked the board's way: its questions are asked and answered on the board, never in the chat.

## Read the card
journal ticket show <n>: its board, stage and brief. If you drafted this card yourself, give the run up with journal sequence abandon 3 --about <ref> --why "my own draft".

## Ask on the board
Every decision only the user can make is asked on the board, never in the chat: journal question ask "<question>" --set about=board:<board n> --set options='[...]'. The board shows it at its top, and the answer comes back as an event; wait for it only where the work truly depends on it.

## Shape the work
Split the card into draft tickets on the same board (journal ticket create "<the work>" --brief "<what is wanted>" --set board=<n> --set draft=true), name what waits on what with journal ticket depend, and the role that should take it with --set owner=<domain>/<role> when the project has one.

## Answer on the card
Reply on the card in one short line: what you drafted, and which question waits on the user. The New work panel shows the reply and the drafts; the user picks which to keep.
