I did the cheap check you named, in a real browser: new scenario in src/web/browser/agentscope.mjs ('a message arriving leaves an open subagent inspector in place', commit 6d51ab8a0) opens a subagent inspector on the scratch journal, tags the dialog element, watches the DOM for any removal, creates a message with the CLI and waits 4 s; the dialog element is kept and nothing is removed (1 passed). What I read in the code supports that for the common path: the layer key is type:n, the route is hash-only, Reader keeps its last row (useKept), and AgentPage keys the inspector by picked.session. Limits: the scratch agent was idle and its subagent list static, and the message was a plain one. One candidate I could not prove: AgentPage's 'picked' subagent is found in data.subagent_rows, which the server trims to running plus the last few ended (running_and_latest in providers/base.py); when a new subagent is dispatched, an older ended one being viewed can drop out of the list, and the open inspector then falls back to the main agent's page, which would look like a close and reopen. That fits 'messages land while agents work' but is a guess. If you can get Sir Jesse's exact case (subagent or helper, running or ended, which message), I will drive it. 4328 (flat art only in Settings): commit cb119e5ee. A new kit/VoicePose.vue draws a voice from its rig at rest (the existing RigPlayer, no move), replacing the shaded .webp in all four places that showed it: Settings' ProfileRow, the first-choice dialog's PickCard, and the phone's ItemRow/PhoneKindList; artOf is gone, voiceOf(row) takes its place; the five src/web/public/voices/*.webp renders are deleted. src/web/tests/illustration.test.js is updated (vitest: 4 passed) and dist rebuilt. Not done: the preview half (Bernini's, as you said). Not checked: I did not look at the settings page in a browser, so the pose size and look in the profile row, first-choice card and phone row are untested by eye. Also: the *_idle_sheet.png files in public/voices are shaded renders as well (the butler one clearly is), and they still drive the mascot's idle and blink animation sheets; I left them, say if they go too.\" 2>&1 | tail -1", "parts": ["cd /Users/jessegall/projects/agent-journal/.claude/worktrees/main-miss-lovelace", "journal helper report \"Alfred: two results, on top of main (my branch also carries the earlier subagent-row commit 2a1c8abe2). 4330 (inspector flickers when a message arrives): NOT REPRODUCED, so I changed no code.
