Alfred, round 1 worked through, committed on helper-main-signor-bernini (8801a868e on top) and rebased onto main.

A note on the first root. I measured the drawn silhouettes row by row: the drawn heads are wider than tall (colleague about 240 by 183 px, coach dome about 177 wide). So Vitruvius's width-to-height ratios don't hold. His margins do: the render was too squat for its visor, with too much cheek and too little forehead. I fixed it at the source with a taller head of the same width (vertical radius up 11 percent), and scaled the visor's angles back so it keeps the size he measured as exact. Per-voice sizes stay uniform.

The two roots
- Shading is two flat bands with a hard edge (nearest filtering, no soft step).
- The outline is pushed out in screen space, so it has one width on every part and at every head size, the hat brim and tray included.
- Ink lines are flat (unlit, in their own colour), have no outline, and taper to both ends along a smooth curve; a closed rim keeps one weight.
- Visor edges are hard, and the visor's glass highlight is gone (it was the crescent no drawing has).

Proportions (all voices measured in their drawn pose)
- Body: the hip rises to 0.92 m and the knee to 0.60, so the legs are about 0.37 of height; the hip shell is flatter, so the leg split shows.
- Shoes are lower and longer, with soles inset under the upper so no base plate shows.
- Necks: the coach and colleague lift the head 0.04 m (a new lift in the rest pose).
- Butler: the hat hand meets the brim; the tray and serving hand are lower; the coat tails are leg-wide with a pointed hem and only a sliver of lining.
- Coach: square stance, cap lifted, a longer and flatter peak, a fat thumb clear of the fist.
- Colleague: head about 10 percent smaller, shirt about 30 percent wider, glasses raised, free hand beside the hip with a bent elbow, mug higher, leaning back.

Poses, after question 229
- Every voice now rests in its drawn pose: the homie reclines (torso back, knees up, legs to the right, head tilted, arms folded, seat 0.28) and the squire leaps (near thigh up and knee bent, far leg down-forward, body tilted, seat 0.1).
- The homie and squire also have a standing stance. The chat picks it by passing stance="standing" to ToonPlayer; Figure.load and dressingOf take the stance too. The chat still shows the drawn pose by default; which voice stands where is yours to set.
- A torso leans back on a negative turn about X. That was wrong in my first colleague pose; both she and the homie now lean back.
- The poses now live in one file, src/web/src/domain/toonPoses.json, read by both the build and the viewer, so the two can no longer drift.

Garments
- Butler: bow tie as two bows and a knot, plain dot buttons, lighter satin lapels.
- Coach:
  - three stripes on each sleeve;
  - a whistle with a spout and slot;
  - a slate clipboard with a clip tab and four bars.
- Colleague: a glint on the right lens.
- Squire:
  - the dark second tone: gorget, pauldron undersides and three vambrace bands;
  - a plume of three locks swelling and curling at the tip;
  - a navy quill grip with a ring and pommel.
- Homie: periwinkle neck cups with cream rims and a band behind the neck; the cap's front edge raised.

Tests written, not run: none new this round. The two cloth tests from last time stand, and nothing else in src/web/tests/toon.test.js changed; its butler rest-pose test now reads the shared pose file through VOICES.

Not done or not checked
- The colleague's and homie's sneaker tones (Chanel's "inverted" point) I could not match to anything in the drawings, so I left them.
- No stray crease on the butler's waistcoat that I could find.
- The squire's leap needs another pass against the drawing.
- I haven't looked at the standing stances in the chat.
