Alfred, every voice has had its own pass, one at a time, each committed on its own; then one shading pass that touches no geometry. Not rebased, as you asked.

The instrument. compare.html now scores each voice the way Madame Vigee does: render and drawing both filled solid, overlap as intersection over union. It re-frames the figure for every pose it tries, since a pose that moves the lowest or highest point changes the scale. On the four voices I hadn't touched it gave coach 0.756, colleague 0.800, homie 0.853 and squire 0.527, the same as her round-4 numbers, so it measures what she measures. I only kept a change that raised it. Where a critic had already closed a number, I kept that number even when the score wanted otherwise: the colleague's head size, the homie's shins and head roll, the butler's visor and cheek.

Overlap per voice, before and after (all in the drawn pose):
- butler 0.70 > 0.816 (224b0169e)
- squire 0.527 > 0.668 (6dd5f22d5)
- coach 0.756 > 0.815 (33448dd1e)
- colleague 0.800 > 0.839 (c310498cf)
- homie 0.853 > 0.854 (a998b6678)
Mean 0.727 > 0.798.

Butler
- Hat hand centre 0.117 > 0.254 of his height (drawn 0.225), now in front of the brim.
- Tray 0.29 > 0.368 (drawn 0.37).
- Shoe span 0.49 > 0.386 (drawn 0.41), with the sole hugging the shoe.
- A narrower stance; the near coat tail flared, the far one held in.
- No laptop glare, no ring round the badge, one cuff band.
- Visor and cheek untouched.

Squire
- His frame was the fault: the shield hung below everything, so he measured 2.82 m and was squeezed into the cell. Now 2.25 m.
- The lead leg reaches down, so its boot is his lowest point: 0.996 of his height, with the shield's tip at 0.989. Before, the shield was at 1.002 and the boot at 0.72.
- The shield is 1.26 > 1.08 m tall and raised on his arm; the body leans less; the trailing leg swings back.

Coach
- The thumbs-up is a closed fist with a short thumb, at 0.65 of the mitten's size: 0.155 x 0.211 > 0.12 x 0.125 of his height (drawn 0.092 x 0.123).
- His sneakers are three quarters the size.
- A wider stance with the shins angled in, and his own head size (1.08 > 1.0).
- The board arm is lifted and the clipboard larger.
- Not done: his cap crown width and brim angle, and his head roll, which the score did not support moving.

Colleague
- Elbows in from the T.
- The mug sits at 0.357 to 0.516 of her height (from 0.28 to 0.38, drawn 0.40 to 0.52). It was upright all along; it read as a pan because its top faced away. It now tips toward the viewer, with the coffee clear of the rim.
- Cream sneakers with a blue side panel.
- Not done: her eye-line. I left her head at its closed size rather than move it.

Homie
- Hands at 0.6 of the mitten's size, lying over his folded arms.
- The hood roll is behind his neck and the drawstrings back in front.
- An inked seam on the cap's surface; the snapback window low at the front.
- His screen is restated from the drawing's fractions at his own height. His figure is 1.72 m, where the screen was measured at 1.83, so a size held in metres had grown 6 percent as a share of his height; that is likely the eye-span Vitruvius saw widen. His screen is now 0.537 x 0.352 m; the other four stand as measured.
- Not done: the brim's darker underside. Tipping the brim up to show it cost overlap, so the brim stays where it was.

Shading
- Light and mid paints keep one flat tone; their shadow band takes only what is turned well away from the sun. Visible on the waistcoat, towel, cream armour, shirt and caps.
- The dark cloth keeps its lifted lit band over a deeper shadow.
- Its edge is now a drawn curve: the rounded shading normal is worked out for each pixel instead of each vertex, so the edge no longer wobbles along the decimated mesh.
- Overlap unchanged by this pass on all five.

Visors as they now stand, width x height in metres: butler 0.562 x 0.392, coach 0.608 x 0.396, colleague lenses 0.639 x 0.279, homie 0.537 x 0.352, squire 0.579 x 0.333.

Tests written, not run: none new this round. No code checks: commandments isn't installed in this worktree.

ready for a round: one pass per voice (overlap 0.727 to 0.798 on the mean), and a shading pass with flat light paints and a crisp curved edge on dark cloth.
